Hello readers!
This is a blog dedicated to showing the world the life of someone living in America with H.I.V. It is my own personal story of what happened, and what will happen to me and how I’ve come to deal with the many issues that occur with H.I.V/AIDS.
This blog is to help anyone out there who feels alone and ashamed for what they have. To let you all know that there are others facing the same challenges. To give you all a person to talk to when you feel like nobody else will understand. Not everybody is lucky enough to have someone walk with them through this struggle, and that is where I would like to come in.
It is also my personal way of expressing myself. Currently, only one other person knows of what I have and I’m the type of person who needs to express themselves to a lot of people. So, I decided to come to tumblr to speak out, vent, help and be helped without scaring anyone I know personally.
The other reason I made this blog is to raise awareness. I don’t only want to speak out to other HIV positive people- I want everyone to understand how very important it is to protect themselves! If I had known half of what I know now about HIV/AIDS a few years ago, I would never have gotten it. Unfortunately, HIV/AIDS is not something people like to talk about so a lot of people are left uninformed. I highly encourage any questions you might have about life, sex, HIV/AIDS, STDs, etc. I will help in any way I can.
